(WEST ORANGE, SEPTEMBER 4) - Republican Gubernatorial Nominee Bret
Schundler will accompany community, educational and business leaders on
a tour of Jersey City Wednesday to kick off the final nine weeks of the
gubernatorial campaign.
Schundler's success as Mayor in turning around Jersey City has won him
national praise, and is one of the foundations of his campaign for
Governor.
The tour will allow community leaders and members of the press to see
first-hand the results of Bret Schundler's leadership and commitment to
reform.
During the campaign Schundler will continue to contrast his success at
reducing crime, attracting jobs, creating affordable housing and holding
the line on taxes in Jersey City, with Jim McGreevey's failure to lead
as a state legislator and as the Mayor of Woodbridge.
