Schundler Empowerment Express Goes To The Airwaves
GOP Nominee Appearing On Nearly Twenty Radio Shows And “Good Day NY” On Monday
From Ramapo College To Powerhouse WABC, Schundler Reaches Every Corner Of NJ
(WEST ORANGE, NOVEMBER 4) - Schundler for Governor spokesperson Tom Gallagher today issued the following statement:
“The Schundler Empowerment Express is rolling across New Jersey to an Election Night victory on Tuesday. Bret will be taking his campaign of cutting taxes, lowering crime and bolstering security to the voters by appearing on almost twenty radio stations across New Jersey in the campaign’s closing hours.
“Bret started his radio tour this morning on New York’s WABC’s
The Steve Malzberg Show talking about the need to lower taxes, strengthen New Jersey’s economy and better prepare our state for terrorist attacks. Bret continued his airwaves campaign on Philadelphia’s WNWR’s German-American Show hosted by Ted Hierl and Toms River’s WOBM’s Senior Companion Show hosted by Jimmy Esposito. Bret reinforced his message of reducing seniors’ school property tax by fifty percent to the Senior Companion audience.”
“Tomorrow, we’ll see Bret Schundler show true leadership as he continues an unprecedented airwaves campaign on fifteen radio programs. Bret will begin his penultimate day of campaigning on FOX5’s Good Day New York at 6:15 am. Then, he’ll begin a radio marathon by talking to Ramapo College’s Louis and Jay in the Morning on WRPR, 90.3FM. Bret’s last appearance will be on WABC’s John & Paul Show at 11:00pm. Bret will be appearing tomorrow on radio stations in every region in the state, including WOND, 1400AM (Atlantic City/South Jersey), WABC, 770AM (NYC/North Jersey) and WSNJ, 1240AM (Bridgeton/South Jersey). Bret has appeared on many of these stations before, including the Hispanic-oriented WADO and WJDM in North Jersey.
“Throughout the campaign, the radio stations that broadcast to New Jersey have been extremely generous in putting Bret on the air. Bret appreciates the unique opportunity to talk directly to New Jersey’s voters in an unscripted atmosphere that goes beyond pre-packaged messages, sound bites and attack ads. Unfortunately, some campaigns in recent years have focused solely on raising money and picking up special interest endorsements. However, Bret Schundler has focused his efforts on talking directly to New Jersey’s voters.
“Whether the topic is providing property tax relief, creating jobs, giving parents freedom to choose the school their children attend, or ensuring the security and safety of our families, these radio shows have generously given us a platform to communicate directly to the voters of New Jersey. We appreciate the opportunity, whether the host is a friendly, conservative host like Sean Hannity or a feisty, but still friendly, left-leaning host like Ron Kuby.”
